{"id":59,"date":"2009-01-12T12:29:24","date_gmt":"2009-01-12T17:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scatteredflurries.com\/?p=59"},"modified":"2009-01-12T12:29:24","modified_gmt":"2009-01-12T17:29:24","slug":"barenaked-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scatteredflurries.com\/?p=59","title":{"rendered":"Barenaked fun?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Alright, so I should probably wait until there are details or even confirmation, but having established that interesting changes in my emotional state are blogworthy, there was an interesting development last night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The new cruise director asked us if we wanted to perform with The Barenaked Ladies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Apparently, and details are foggy and fourth-hand, we\u2019ve been asked if we want to perform with them.<span> <\/span>Now, that might just mean doing a show (or our regular show) during their cruise, but it also might mean (and this was the cruise director\u2019s impression) doing some kind of \u201cbit\u201d with them or some sort of shared performance.<span> <\/span>Which, let\u2019s face it, would be kind of awesome.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">And, as long as I\u2019ve got one foot in the Candyland of the Mind, I may as well take the leap and add that if we\u2019re on the roster of performers for \u201cShips \u2018n Dip,\u201d might not some sort of performance with Kevin and Dave also be a possibility?<span> <\/span>(That\u2019s right.<span> <\/span>In the Candyland of the Mind, I\u2019m on a first-name basis with the Kids in the Hall \u2013 and they with me!)<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ll keep you posted as reality unfolds (stupid reality, would it kill you to stay folded just once?!?), but for now, giddy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alright, so I should probably wait until there are details or even confirmation, but having established that interesting changes in my emotional state are blogworthy, there was an interesting development last night.
